Blood Testing

Blood tests provide an indication of basic body function and help identify possible areas of concern.  Tests for thyroid, liver and kidney function, blood glucose, cholesterol, and iron may be part of a general health screen.

Salivary Hormone Testing

Salivary samples are analyzed to identify various hormonal imbalances. Hormones tested include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol.  Specialized test panels are available for men, cycling females, and menopausal women.

Body Composition Testing

Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA) is used to gain information about body composition.  This test measures muscle mass, fat mass, cellular function, and hydration status. These results can be used to develop specific nutritional, detoxification, and weight management programs.

VEGA Testing

VEGA testing is used to assess organ function, identify the presence of bacteria, yeast, or fungus, and to test for food sensitivities.  We can also test supplements and medications to determine if they are beneficial to you.  VEGA testing is an effective tool for indicating underlying dysfunction and directing appropriate treatment.

Food Allergy Testing

This simple test uses a finger-prick sample of blood to look for 96 common food allergens.  Food allergies may be associated with a variety of conditions including digestive issues, skin conditions, joint pain, low immune function, and mood or behavioural issues.
